Make P:rem Safe Me Cleansing Milk: what 3 Korean channels said

Make P:rem Safe Me Cleansing Milk Review: Do You Need a Second Cleanse?

A second cleanse after Make P:rem Safe Me Cleansing Milk depends on your day. Sephora’s US directions describe it as dissolving sunscreen and light makeup, with a lukewarm rinse if you cleanse only once. The Korean directions end with a foam step. Waterproof products, heavy makeup and very oily skin call for a foam or a remover.

The milk (full name Safe Me Relief Moisture Cleansing Milk, 메이크프렘 세이프 미 릴리프 모이스처 클렌징밀크) is a thin cleanser that puts olive and safflower oil right after the water. Three channels covered it among 188 Korean beauty videos from the past month with no sponsorship mark. Two of them recommend it outright.

Two of the three descriptions have shopping links that may earn a commission. One creator also tested a milk from her own brand in the same video.

What do these creators like, and what bothers them?

All three call it gentle. They split on the aftermath. Sunny likes the moisture, BeautyNANI finds the film slippery, and Onlina says very oily skin may need a foam. Many commenters under the biggest video argued about technique. Several said results vary by YouTuber and by how long you rub and rinse.

If you love a squeaky-clean feel, this isn’t that.

Make P:rem Safe Me Cleansing Milk card: what Korean creators said vs what the label shows

Do you really need a second cleanse?

The Korean directions make a foam wash the fourth and last step. They also recommend a separate remover for heavy color makeup and waterproof products. Sephora’s directions say the milk dissolves sunscreen and light makeup. If you cleanse only once, rinse with lukewarm water.

I’d skip the foam on days with a light sunscreen and add it for waterproof sunscreen, makeup or very oily skin. Olive and safflower oil are the second and third names, so some oily skin will want the second wash.

What is in Make P:rem Safe Me Cleansing Milk besides oil?

Olive oil and safflower seed oil sit right after the water. Glycerin and a sugar-derived cleansing agent (decyl glucoside) are also near the top. No sulfates, silicones or ethanol appear anywhere. The alcohols are waxy fatty alcohols that thicken the milk.

Near the end sit bergamot and clary sage oils, which are scented essential oils. Betaine salicylate, a salicylic acid derivative, is there too. Amounts down there are small, and a rinse-off product leaves little behind. If fragrance ingredients bother your skin, patch test it or ask a dermatologist.

Ceramide NP, hyaluronic acid and panthenol are all on the list, but only from the middle down. In a cleanser you rinse off, I’d treat them as a finishing touch, not the reason to buy it.

Are “no fragrance” and “no synthetics” true?

  • “No fragrances” (Amazon listing): the list has no fragrance entry, but the two essential oils are scented. Sephora’s page says the milk contains less than one percent synthetic fragrance, while its own ingredient list shows no such entry, so the two shops disagree.
  • “No synthetic ingredients” (Amazon listing): the list includes an acrylates crosspolymer, a synthetic thickener.
  • “Clinically proven suitable for sensitive skin” and “97.67% fewer fine particles after one use”: these are the brand’s own test claims, and a label can’t confirm them.

Read “gentle” as no sulfates and no drying alcohol, not as nothing that could bother you.

Does the Sephora bottle match the Korean one?

On the label, yes. Korea, Olive Young Global, Sephora US and Amazon US all list the same 32 ingredients.

VersionIngredientsOrder
Olive Young Korea (product notice)32Reference
Olive Young Global32Same order
Sephora US32Same names; order shifts after the first nine
Amazon US (make p:rem store)32Same as Sephora

Verdict: same ingredients, shuffled after the ninth name. Ceramide NP and the hyaluronic acids slide from mid-list in Korea to near the end in the US. Under US rules, ingredients at 1% or less can be listed in any order. I read it as the same milk, though a label can’t prove that.

Any of the official shops below carries it, so buy where shipping is cheapest.

Will an oil-rich milk suit your skin?

  • Dry or sensitive skin: the best fit on paper. The base is water, oils and glycerin, with no sulfates or ethanol, though the two essential oils call for a patch test.
  • Oily or acne-prone skin: two creators with that skin use it, but olive and safflower oil sit near the top, so plan on a foam wash afterwards.
  • Fragrance-sensitive skin: check the bergamot and clary sage oils first, and ask a dermatologist if your skin reacts easily.

Prices are as of November 5, 2026, converted at the ECB rate of 1,338.58 won per dollar from November 4.

Before shipping, Olive Young Global’s set costs about 56% more than the same set in Korea. Sephora’s milk costs about 86% more than Korea’s price for the bottle alone.

Korea’s 500 ml listing was also sold out. The sets with foam were in stock everywhere I checked. On Amazon, look for “Sold by make p:rem” or “Ships from and sold by Amazon.com” to avoid fakes.

In Korea, I’d buy the 18,000-won set, since the foam comes with it. Abroad, the Olive Young Global set is the cheapest I found, and Sephora’s milk alone costs more than that set. I’d take the set.

The short version

Two of three unsponsored Korean channels recommend Make P:rem Safe Me Cleansing Milk. The third finds it gentle but slippery. The label backs “gentle” but not “no fragrance”. All four shops list the same ingredients, and Olive Young Global’s set costs about 56% more than Korea’s.
