Olive Young Black Friday 2026: Korea vs Global Sale, Coupons and Perks
The Olive Young Black Friday (올리브영 블랙프라이데이) sale began on November 1, 2026. The Korean mall runs it through November 7, the Global Mall through November 12 (Korea time). One catch: the Global page names nine countries and regions where its event is unavailable, including Singapore and Australia. In Seoul, a separate store perk gives visitors 5% off bigger baskets.

Which Olive Young Black Friday sale should you use?
Start with the Notice at the bottom of the Global sale page. It says the event is only available in selected countries, and it names nine where it is unavailable. The page doesn’t say whether that covers the sale prices as well as the coupons.
If your country isn’t on that list, the Global Mall is the easier route. Its sale page is in English, and the shipping page says it delivers to more than 60 countries. The Korean mall’s event pages are in Korean, and I couldn’t confirm whether overseas buyers can use its coupons.
The Global sale page has four parts: coupons, one-day deals, a last-chance list marked “while stocks last”, and a feature on the brand numbuzin. The one-day deals section shows a countdown to when prices go back up.
Open the Global Black Friday page, download the coupons first, then fill your cart. Once downloaded, a coupon applies on the cart page by itself. Coupons are valid until November 12, 23:59 (KST) and work once per account.
How do the Global Mall coupons stack?
These coupon rules apply only if your country isn’t on the Notice’s unavailable list. First-time buyers get a 30% product coupon for one eligible item, plus a free gift.
The Notice caps the saving at US$7, so an item above about US$23 saves no more. Don’t build your cart around this coupon.
Product coupons also exclude some brands: K-pop, Laneige, Mediheal, Aestura, S.Nature, Lador, Unove, Beauty of Joseon and Dr.Melaxin, plus one Haruharu Wonder sunscreen duo. Check the Notice before you plan a purchase around a coupon.
The coupon rules are short. You can use only one cart coupon per order. Cart coupons and product coupons can be used together, and several product coupons can be used together too.

The app page adds that purchase coupons can’t be combined with other purchase coupons or promo codes in the same order. It also excludes K-pop records from coupon discounts and free-gift thresholds.
The notification coupon can take two days to arrive. Turn notifications on today if you want it before the sale ends on November 12.
What do shipping and tax add on top?
The shipping page and the Black Friday Notice are separate pages. A country can appear in the shipping table and still be excluded from the sale event.

Product prices and shipping fees don’t include taxes or customs duties. The page also says customs may count free gifts, points payments and shipping in the declared value. Add a margin to your budget before you chase a free gift.
Is there an in-store perk for visitors in Seoul?
Olive Young Global’s “Visit KOREA” event gives visitors 5% off at participating Korean stores. It isn’t a Black Friday offer: the event page shows only a placeholder end date (2999-12-31). Follow the Global account on TikTok or Instagram, then show the follow screen at the register. It doesn’t work at self-checkout kiosks.

The discount stops growing at a KRW 400,000 basket, so a bigger order earns nothing extra.
The rules are strict. Only listed branches take part, including Myeongdong Town (명동타운), Hongdae Town (홍대타운), Gangnam Town (강남타운) and Garosugil Town (가로수길타운). It is limited to once per person, it can’t be combined with other coupons, and Olive Young can change or end it.
I couldn’t find a rule on whether the 5% applies to items already on sale. Ask at the register before you rely on it. The refund is a separate step, covered in our Korea tax refund guide.
Which products Haamoni has covered are in the sale?
I checked the sale pages on November 1 for brands Haamoni has already looked at. Four showed up. I’m leaving prices out because they change daily. Aestura is on the Global Mall’s excluded-brand list for product coupons.

What would I check first?
If I lived in Singapore or Australia, I’d read the Notice before building a cart, because both countries are on the unavailable list. In Seoul, I’d combine everything into one checkout over KRW 100,000, because the visitor perk is once per person and needs that minimum.
The short version
Olive Young’s Black Friday runs November 1 to 7 on the Korean mall and November 1 to 12 on the Global Mall, but the Global event is listed as unavailable in nine places, including Singapore and Australia. In Seoul, the separate 5% store perk needs an order of KRW 100,000 or more.
